Autumn brings refreshing breeze and firm strides. On the afternoon of September 30, the factory compound of Buyang Group was filled with enthusiasm and vitality, where the opening ceremony of the 24th Buyang Cultural Festival and Mini Marathon was held. Employee athletes from the Group’s subsidiaries, departments and workshops gathered here, interpreting the fighting spirit of Buyang people through running. Xu Buyun, Chairman of the Group, attended the event and delivered a speech to cheer for all Buyang staff.
“This run today is far more than just running,” Chairman Xu Buyun stated straightforwardly in his speech. “The market is tough at present. Many people ask why we still hold this event. My answer is — the tougher the market, the higher our spirits should be; the more we advance against headwinds, the braver we must face difficulties.” What has brought Buyang this far is an unyielding spirit.
At the starting gun fired by Chairman Xu Buyun, participating employees in unified team costumes dashed off from the starting line with the high-spirited attitude of "Never give up, run together". On the track, participants marched forward with steady steps and loud slogans, encouraging and advancing side by side. Along the track, cheers and shouts of support rose one after another, fully igniting the passion for sports and teamwork.
Regardless of age or position, the contestants sweated and challenged themselves during the run, demonstrating the perseverance and solidarity of Buyang employees. They expressed that they run side by side today and strive side by side tomorrow. They will bring the fighting spirit from the race back to their posts and fulfill goals and tasks with practical actions.
“Today, the starting gun is the bugle of charge. Let us prove with our footsteps: Buyang people are always running, always on the way!” The words of Chairman Xu Buyun added a distinctive footnote to this race. As the grand opening event of the 24th Buyang Cultural Festival, this mini marathon deeply integrated sports competition with Buyang spirit, enabling employees to perceive the value of hard work while sweating and running.
The market may slump, but Buyang people will never stop stepping forward. The market may have its cold winter, yet there is no winter for Buyang people. From the track to work posts, Buyang people will keep holding the attitude of "Never give up, strive together", build fitness, uphold spirits and forge confidence. They will race forward at Buyang’s "acceleration" while advancing against headwinds!
